HAESL is a joint venture between Rolls-Royce plc (50%) and Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO) (50%). Combining the strength of Rolls-Royce as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and HAECO’s experience of more than 40 years repair and overhaul expertise on Rolls-Royce engines, HAESL has become a world-class specialist in providing the highest quality and most comprehensive engine repair and overhaul service to our customers. Our established, strong and long-term customer and supplier relationships are based on trust and integrity – the hallmark of all successful business partnerships.

HAESL has full capability to perform complete repair and overhaul of the Rolls-Royce RB211 and many Trent series of engines, which are used extensively in many aircraft flying today. With an annual throughput of approximately 360 engines, we have overhauled more than 4,700 Rolls-Royce RB211 and Trent engines since HAESL’s inception in 1997. Our extensive component repair capabilities allow us to provide these services to the Rolls-Royce engine overhaul repair network worldwide.

HAESL receives the first Gold Accreditation of Rolls-Royce Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Honeycomb repair and a second Gold CoE for HP/IP Bearing Support by end of the same year
